This New York City landmark has an elegant traditional carriage house exterior and a modern, loft-like interior with high quality finishes. It is operated by a non-profit organization which exhibits and supports the work of European and American artists.

The house, built in 1902, was designed by noted architect Ralph S. Townsend as a private stable. It was later owned by George S. Bowdoin, a partner at J.P. Morgan. Today, this elegant NYC event space with 24 foot ceilings is the perfect environment and layout for company meetings and retreats, lectures, seminars and panel discussions, seated dinners, cocktail receptions, book signings, product launches, fashions shoots and social events.

A spiral staircase joins the three floors and natural light filters into the space through the glass brick rooftop. Original carriage doors also open onto the street from the ground level reception area. Additional features include a high-speed Internet connection, state-of-the-art A/V equipment and an impressive collection of works by artist Roy Lichtenstein.

CateringPreferred catering is available at the venue, and insured outside caterers are welcome to serve both food and beverages while using the house's fully-equipped professional kitchen.
RestrictionsThe space does not host weddings. The rental fee also increases slightly for late-night social events.
